For over 20 years, NYC-based quartet Screaming Broccolli has been bringing their unique brand of fun to bars, clubs, weddings, parties and corporate functions throughout the east coast and beyond.
Named “The Best Cover Band” by readers of SiLive.com for 2014 and 2016, Screaming Broccolli can be seen live nearly every weekend throughout the year and throughout the summer at some of the most popular locales from East Hampton, the Jersey shore, Rehoboth Beach to Ocean City, Maryland.
Recently, SB completed a week-long residency at the famous Sloppy Joe’s in Key West.
Why the name Screaming Broccolli?
According to founding member and frontman, Mike Loughlin, “The name was born out of the music we were covering when we first got together. Naming the band Screaming Broccolli was our answer to Smashing Pumpkins, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Blind Melon.”.
Even though the band started during the height of the grunge era, their incredible catalog of songs stretches from classic rock, to 80’s and 90’s hits and the biggest and best current Top 40 jams.
Although primarily based in New York City, SB has traveled all over the globe, even as far reaching as Lake Como, Italy, to play weddings, corporate functions and private events. They will build your perfect entertainment menu for every event. Their private event outfit can be customized beyond the core four members to include a 3 piece horn section, an outstanding female vocalist and a DJ to play during band breaks, ensuring your event will be one to remember!
